replacing A Woman Scorned on its afternoon prime timeslot.
Jak
acknowledges the huge challenge of following the success of A Woman Scorned hailed
as the highest-rating daytime drama since it started its run in 2016. “Most of

protector [Glaiza]. Luckily, I have a background in martial arts which helps a
lot,” the actor said.
Ken Chan is a romantic doctor opposite newcomer Arra San Agustin in The Cure

newcomer Arra San Agustin. Arra was among the finalists of GMA’s reality
talent search Starstruck in 2015.
They
will also be working alongside internationally acclaimed actress Jaclyn Jose
and GMA’s multi-talented leading lady Jennylyn Mercado. “It is a big challenge

Ken also has to learn medical terms and concepts to make his portrayal more
genuine and believable. The drama is set to air in Q2 of 2018 on GMA Primetime.
