GMA artist Alden Richards receives New York Festivals award for ‘Memory’

The GMA Martial Law docudrama “Alaala” (Memory), top-billed by Alden Richards, earned a Silver World Medal in the Docudrama category of the 2018 New York Festivals. Richards personally accepted the trophy during the awarding ceremony held in Las Vegas, Nevada last April 10.




On Instagram, Alden congratulated the entire "Alaala" team. "Thank you to the New York Festivals for this great recognition. Congratulations to Team Alaala for the win! To GOD be the glory!," Alden wrote.

Memory is one of the eight winners from GMA Network, which includes one gold medal for Reel Time, three bronze medals for Front Row, Reporter’s Notebook and Brigada (Brigade), and the only Filipino recipient of Best News Anchor, Jessica Soho.
